Phase 1: rough clean
The purpose of the Rough Clean Phase is to remove a bulk of the construction debris and prepare the site for further cleaning.
The Rough Clean Phase includes the following:

Removal of large items items such as debris, trash, leftover materials and other items that cannot be vacuumed. Removal of protective coverings and stickers from floors, windows and other surfaces.

Dusting including high dusting of ceilings, light fixtures and ceiling fans. All surfaces including walls, baseboards and ledges, windowsills, door frames and trim are dusted as well.

Vacuuming of all carpeted areas is done using a HEPA filter to minimize airborne dust.

Floor cleaning including sweeping and mopping of all floors. Buffing and polishing floors will be completed if needed.

Window and glass cleaning involves cleaning of all windows inside and out. Mirrors and glass fixtures are cleaned.
phase 2: light (detailed) clean
The purpose of the Light/Detailed Clean Phase is to focus on the detailed cleaning of the interior spaces.
The Light Clean (or Detailed Clean) Phase includes the following:

Wipe inside and out of cabinets and drawers and clean cabinet hardware.

Clean and disinfect countertops.
-
Wipe down backsplashes.
-
Clean interior and exterior of all appliances.
-
Ensure appliances are free of construction dust and debris.
-
Scrub and polish kitchen sinks.
-
Clean and disinfect faucets.
-
Clean tiles and grout in showers, bathtubs and floors.
-
Clean and polish all bathroom fixtures.
-
Clean and disinfect toilets inside and out.
-
Clean and polish bathtubs and shower enclosures.
-
Ensure all caulking is free of debris and in good condition.

Clean vanity tops and mirrors.
-
Wipe down inside and outside of cabinets and drawers.
-
Clean and dust all light fixtures.
-
Ensure all light bulbs are functioning.
-
Dust and clean closet shelves, rods and floors.


Phase 3: Final (Touch-Up) Clean
The purpose of the Final (Touch-Up) Clean is to ensure that the site is ready for occupancy and addresses any remaining construction dust and minor debris.
The Final (Touch-Up) Clean Phase includes the following:

Wipe down all doors, door frames, and handles

Ensure no paint or construction debris is left on all surfaces.

Clean all air vents and replace filters if necessary.
-
Dust and vacuum around HVAC registers and grilles.
-
Inspect all cleaned areas to ensure spots are missed.
-
Check for any leftover construction materials or debris.
-
Use air purifiers or fresheners to eliminate any residual construction smells.

A final walkthrough is conducted with the client to ensure satisfaction.
